The Gucci brand visited Sicily for Pre-Fall 2019 Campaign

GucciGuccis creative director Alessandro Michele presents the brands Pre-Fall 2019 campaign, captured at the ruined temples of the Selinunte Archaeological Park in Sicily. Models posed in the lens of Glen Lachford.

"For the #GucciPreFall19 campaign, @alessandro_michele imagines a mythical place suspended in time, where contemporary youth cults gather among the ruins of a classical civilisation" - @gucci

Bodybuilders, surfers, stylish punk rockers and girls-rollers are circling around the ancient monument. They are not shy of their feelings, kissing at the ruins, fooling around, playing basketball against the ruins of the temple of Hera. Michele prefers fancy bright clothes: sports pants, skirts, jackets with floral print, velvet jackets. In the lookbook a lot of cool hats, colorful tights, large gold jewelry and all sorts of things with logos.

This is not the first time Alessandro Michele has made a reference to Antiquity. For example, last year the designer showed a cruise collection in the ancient Roman necropolis of Alicante, which is located on the territory of the French city of Arles.
