The Balmain show will be held as part of a music festival



The Balmain men's collection will be shown on June 21 as part of the annual music festival Fête de la musique, dedicated to the summer solstice. The music for the brands show will be written by French producer and techno DJ Mike Levy, known by the pseudonym Gesaffelstein. Also Balmain creative director Olivier Rousten will be the curator of a series of concerts to be held after the show.

Olivier Rusten in his interviews many times confessed his love to music. According to him, melodies and beats are one of the main sources of inspiration. The festival of fashion and music will be held in the garden of the Jardin des Plantes. The show will begin at 9 pm Paris time and will precede a nightly dance-music marathon.

The event will also be charitable in nature. Part of the proceeds from the sale of Balmain festival merchandise, food and beverages will be directed to the Foundation for Combating AIDS (RED). Visitors will also be able to support the initiative by personally donating funds to the fund. Everyone can get to the festival - Balmain prepared 1,500 free tickets.
